Celtic Connections: Adam Beattie & Fiona Bevan
Join two celebrated figures from the London music scene, Adam Beattie and Fiona Bevan, for an intimate show packed with genre-spanning songs and masterful musicianship.
Scottish singer-songwriter and guitarist Adam Beattie combines his roots in folk, old-time jazz, and blues with his distinctive voice and narrative lyrics. Fresh off the heels of his critically acclaimed album Somewhere Round The Bend (hailed by Mojo for its "uplifting reveries of love and loss through smoky jazz and romantic balladry"), Beattie promises a set showcasing his prowess as a multi-instrumentalist and producer.
Joining him is Canadian-British artist Fiona Bevan, a multi-instrumentalist whose "sweet, fiery voice and soulful, cinematic folk sound" create "startling odysseys" (The Guardian). Bevan is also a multi-platinum songwriter, known for writing hits for artists like One Direction and Lewis Capaldi. Expect a captivating set of her own material, blending folk with a cinematic, soulful edge, from an artist who has toured with Ed Sheeran and Nick Mulvey.
This is a chance to see two exceptional musicians and storytellers sharing the stage for an evening of beautifully crafted and emotionally rich music.
