Citizen is an American rock band from Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio that formed in 2009.
“On Calling The Dogs (the band’s 5th record) it truly is the most excited and energized the bandhas been in a really long time,” guitarist Nick Hamm says. Tracks like “HyperTrophy” and “Can’t Take It Slow” show that Citizen can still put out unforgettable melodies and dance-worthy rhythms, while others (like “When I Let You Down”) lean more into timeless classics bordering on garage rock.
