Our Children’s Messiah performances are specially crafted with young audiences and curious first-time concertgoers in mind!
Led by Mr Handel and his lively footwoman, Frances, this fun-filled 45-minute adaptation of Handel’s masterpiece introduces children to some of his most famous music through storytelling, interactive games, and plenty of audience participation along the way.
For many children this will be their very first visit to the concert hall, and we want it to be a transformative experience. Alongside the music, audiences will meet our soloists, conductor, chorus, and orchestra, discovering what makes live performance so inspiring.
And for some brave volunteers, there may even be the chance to conduct the orchestra themselves...
Tickets: £7.50 (including restoration fund)
Tickets are free for adults attending the later Messiah performance.
These performances will be BSL interpreted
Our Children’s Messiah performances are generously sponsored by Baillie Gifford.
