What can a 1920s toilet sign tell us about living and working in Glasgow in the early 20th century?
Glasgow Museums has recently acquired an enamelled metal sign from a squatting toilet in Govan Graving Docks - come along to see this latest addition to our collection relating to South Asian mariners, commonly known as “lascars”, and their working lives.
ACCESSIBILITY: The Riverside Museum has a ground floor and a mezzanine with lift access between floors. The venue has accessible toilets, a changing places toilet, wheelchairs to borrow, a quiet space, sensory kits and a hearing loop.
