LayLow Presents: LayLow Charity BigBand
We are starting something new!
After the response to our Christmas Big Band show and the joy of being able to donate the proceeds to charity we knew we wanted to keep this going.
So were launching LayLow Charity Big Band directed by James Brady: a new regular series bringing together some of the finest jazz musicians on the Glasgow scene to play big-band music for a good cause. Every few months, well host a night where ticket income (after covering the basics) is donated to a chosen charity.
Our next show takes place on March 17, and were delighted to be once again supporting Hear My Music, a Glasgow-based charity creating inclusive music opportunities for young people with complex needs.
Big band music, a room full of people, and a chance to give something back it felt right to turn this into a regular thing.
