Disabled people are often seen as brave, inspirational role models. Matthew Hayhow is on a one-man mission to put a stop to that.
Matthew may use a power chair, but what he lacks in basic motor function he more than makes up for in his comedic skills. Bring Out The Gimp is the debut hour from a comedian who delights in finding humour in any topic, no matter how uncomfortable, and delivering it in his trademark deadpan demeanour.
Since rolling onto the comedy scene, Matthew has taken his unique perspectives and a mixture of sharp and vulgar material to the Edinburgh Fringe, The Afternoon Show on BBC Radio Scotland, and has supported James Gardner.
