Museum of Welcome Exhibition
Come and enjoy the wonderful artwork created by Museum of Welcome participants at Riverside. A community led project in partnership with Central and West Integration Network (CWIN) Art Group.
The project brought together participants aged 13 - 65, from diverse cultural backgrounds to explore ideas of identity, memory and belonging through art.
Inspired by the museum's collections, architecture, transport and stories of everyday life, participants developed artwork through observation, and creative experimentation, culminating in an exhibition and public mural display.
The mural display on boxes outside the museum will provide a lasting legacy from the project bringing joy to people as they travel from Partick to Govan.
The exhibition is presented as part of Refugee Festival Scotland 2026.
