RSNO 2026/27 Chamber Series: Wind Dectet Plays Brahms
Britten Sinfonietta Op1
Honegger Pastorale d’été
Brahms arr David Walter Serenade No1
RSNO Wind Dectet
Great things come in small packages. There are only ten players in this afternoon’s concert, but between them they can conjure up worlds. The teenage Benjamin Britten strides out with style, while high in the Alps on a perfect summer morning, the Swiss composer Arthur Honegger sits back and enjoys the view. And then the RSNO Wind Dectet plays Brahms’ First Serenade - a portrait of a genius in holiday mood, full of great tunes and musical jokes. Come and join the fun!
