Experience more than just a brief encounter with Scotland’s National Orchestra tonight. Dorothy Howell’s Lamia is a musical fairy tale with a gorgeous twist. Meanwhile, Rachmaninov’s Second Piano Concerto is a world of dark passions and endless melodies, played tonight by the extraordinary Roman Borisov. And Elgar’s magnificent First Symphony begins with one of the greatest tunes ever written by a British composer and just gets better and better. With Music Director Thomas Sondergard in charge, prepare to be swept away.

For customers buying a seasonal subscription, classical concerts in the 2026:27 Season will carry a restoration fund of 75 pence per ticket.
For any additional concerts during 2026:27, whether bought in a separate transaction or along with a season subscription, the standard £1.50 restoration fund per ticket will apply.
