Sulidae (& Friends) Album Launch
Sulidae is the musical project of singer, songwriter and poet Bobby Motherwell, whose distinctive blend of song, poetry and spoken word explores the natural world, love, loss and a spirituality deeply rooted in nature.
The Unreliable Narrator is his third album and the final instalment in a critically acclaimed trilogy, following Kitchen Sink Dharma and ...an invincible summer.
Produced by Garry Boyle at Slate Room Studio, the album features an exceptional ensemble of Scottish musicians, including Lyle Watt, Kirsten Adamson, James Grant and Seonaid Aitken. Released as a limited-edition book, it brings together music, visual art and poetry through collaborations with Glasgow School of Art alumni and some of Scotland’s finest poets.
Following a sold-out 2024 album launch of his second album at The Glad Café, praised for its “spellbinding” performance, Sulidae returns to the venue for Celtic Connections with an evening of music, poetry, spoken word and storytelling.
