Synthesis
Synthesis returns for its second wave, bringing together visual art, live music, digital work, installation and performance for a one-night event that sits somewhere between a gallery, live show and club night.
Founded by Glasgow-based artists Marnie White and Isla Nicholson, Synthesis is a collaborative event series exploring the relationship between music and visual art, treating both disciplines as equals. The events create social, immersive spaces where audiences can spend time with artwork, experience live music and performance, have a drink and engage with the work at their own pace.
The first Synthesis welcomed over 300 attendees, 40+ exhibiting artists and a lineup of DJs. For its second wave, the project expands with a varied programme of live music, DJs, visual art, digital work, immersive installations and live performance.
Rooted in collaboration and connection across Glasgow’s creative communities, Synthesis aims to create an accessible and informal environment where different disciplines and audiences can come together.
