The Advance Construction Experience - Digger Weekend
Get ready for a hands-on construction experience at Riverside Museum this summer!
Join us for a free family weekend packed with exciting activities, giant construction vehicles, live demonstrations and interactive STEM challenges. Children and young people can climb aboard real construction machinery, meet construction and engineering professionals, and discover how the buildings, roads and bridges around us are created.
Whether your little ones love big machines, enjoy building and problem-solving, or are simply curious about how things work, there's something for all ages to enjoy. With plenty of hands-on activities, family entertainment and opportunities to explore the world of construction, it's a fun and inspiring day out during the summer holidays.
An autism-friendly quiet opening will take place on Saturday from 10am-11am, offering a calmer experience with reduced visitor numbers and no vehicle horns.
Saturday 8 August: 10am-4pm
Sunday 9 August: 11am-4pm
Admission: Free (advance booking recommended)
Book your free tickets via Eventbrite.
