The Bishop's Wife
An often overlooked, warm, sentimental seasonal film about a bishop who while seeking funds for a new cathedral receives divine intervention in the form of a guardian angel played by Cary Grant. The Bishop, unaware of the divine nature of this man, suspects him of having romantic feelings toward his wife. In the words of the New York Times, 'we cannot recommend you to a more delightful and appropritare Christmas show.'
