The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover
Peter Greenaway's notorious 1989 fable of gluttony, cruelty and revenge, staged like a grotesque painting come to life. Join us in our new pop up Southside cinema in a converted warehouse on Niddrie road for this special screening.
A gangster, his abused wife, her lover and a restaurant become the setting for one of the most visually extravagant and shocking films ever made. Cult, controversial, and rarely screened — for anyone who likes their cinema with teeth.
Offline is Govanhill's home for artists' moving image — an arts space in a converted warehouse on Niddrie Road.
