Anna, Sheila and Clare Friel, born and brought up as proud members of the Donegal diaspora in Glasgow, have remained deeply connected to their Donegal roots, playing a rich blend of music interspersed with songs, many from their family repertoire.
Featuring Anna (flute/whistle/vocals), Sheila (uilleann pipes/flute/whistle/vocals), Clare (fiddle/whistle/vocals), Cathal Ó Curráin (bouzouki/vocals) and Marty Barry (guitar/vocals), The Friel Sisters have performed in various venues and festivals all over the world and deliver performances full of energy, heart and warmth.
