The Unthanks at 20 with Royal Northern Sinfonia and Beth Malcolm

Join us for a spectacular evening as The Unthanks celebrate a monumental 20 years as a band, in collaboration with the world-class Royal Northern Sinfonia. This is a landmark show, simultaneously marking the 10th anniversary of their seminal BBC Folk Album of the Year, Mount The Air.

Under the masterful arrangements of Adrian McNally, the show will elevate the band’s iconic folk, roots, and world music, proving that the beauty and truth of oral history is anything but common. This is a rare opportunity to witness one of the UK’s most innovative bands at the height of their powers, in a celebratory symphonic performance that promises to be a stunning highlight of the festival.

Supporting this show is Beth Malcolm, a songwriter and signer of stories, known for performing a mix of traditional, modern and her own original Scots songs.
