The Uprising
Paul Greengrass is famed for his journalistic approach to historical dramas (Bloody Sunday, United 93) and action films (the Bourne trilogy) over the course of his career. In The Uprising, he directs Andrew Garfield and Jamie Bell and tells of the Peasants' Revolt of 1381, following a commoner who rises against King Richard II in a story of resistance, power and survival, blending large-scale historical spectacle with his trademark realism and intensity.
