Ùrlar: Giles Lamb live
Live music in quadraphonic sound. Multi-screen projection. Total immersion.
Ùrlar is Gaelic for the floor. In pibroch it's the ground, the theme the music leaves and keeps coming back to.
This is the premiere of a new live work by Glasgow composer Giles Lamb. Live music in quadraphonic sound, with multi-screen projection built from 3D scans and black-and-white photographs of the River Kelvin gorge and the canal. You're surrounded by it.
It's slow, deep and meditative, and it's played live, so no two nights will be the same.
