Glasgow Mela (June)

TRNSMT (1113 July)

World Pipe Band Championships (1415 August)

Watch pipe bands from around the world battle it out to be named champions. Pipers gather from across the globe in Glasgow Green each August for 2 full days of competition. Find out more at The Worlds.

Take That (12–13 June)

Take That bring their legendary record-breaking tour 'The Circus Live' back to Hampden Park for two nights only. It's pure spectacle with all the hits that fans old and new will love. Plus, there's a whole evening of entertainment with support from The Script and Belinda Carlisle. Explore ticket options at Hampden Park.

Metallica (25 June)

One of the most iconic heavy metal bands of all time, Metallica, brings their M72 tour to Hampden Park. The band celebrates their back catalogue, so expect an ambitious show. Support comes from Gojira and Knocked Loose. Book tickets at Hampden Park.

Summer Sessions – Bellahouston Park

Each year, some of the biggest bands in the world come to Glasgow to play at Summer Sessions. So far, Teddy Swims, My Chemical Romance and Pitbull have been confirmed for 2026. Keep up-to-date on more announcements at Summer Sessions.

Summer Nights on the Southside – Queens Park

Queen’s Park has 2 locations for outdoor concerts. The bandstand and the recreational ground, where a Big Top Tent is erected. Del Amitri, Echo & The Bunnymen and Ocean Colour Scene headlined the Big Top Tent in 2025. Keep your eyes peeled on Ticketmaster for new gig listings.

Big Nights Out

Big Nights Out is a summer concert series that takes place at 2 bandstands in the city. Kelvingrove Bandstand and Amphitheatre and Queens Park Arena host a variety of nights. The line-up in 2025 included Arab Strap, Geordie Greep and Yard Act. Visit Big Nights Out for ticket info.

Summer Nights at the Bandstand – Kelvingrove Bandstand and Amphitheatre

The bandstand in Kelvingrove Park also hosts Summer Nights. Running for over a decade, the line-up in previous years has included Elbow, Billy Ocean and Teenage Fanclub. Info on future gigs can be found at Ticketmaster.

SWG3 Galvanizers Yard

SWG3 is a large multi-purpose venue. One of its spaces is the Galvanizers Yard. It has a capacity of 4,000 and hosts many dance and rock gigs. For details on upcoming events, visit SWG3.
