Cosy up with a dram

Escape the cold by cosying up in a pub and enjoying a dram of whisky, Scotland’s national drink.

Must-visits include The Pot Still, which stocks over 600 whiskies, and Òran Mór, winner of Best Whisky Bar at the 2022 Maltmen Awards. You can also stop by The Piper Whisky Bar, known for its regular tasting events.

Take a stroll through a graveyard

Modelled on the famous Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris, the Glasgow Necropolis is a great place for an autumnal stroll. Head to the top of the cemetery for panoramic views, which take in the medieval Glasgow Cathedral. Or why not join a walking tour to hear the stories of those that were buried there.
