Getting Here and Around

By Rail
Less than 10 minutes walk from Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations.
Charing Cross Station gives easy access to the west end of the District — steps from the King’s Theatre and the Mitchell Library.
By Bus
Buchanan Street Bus Station is a short walk away, connecting you to the wider city and beyond.
The Nos 4 and 6 bus routes bring you in from the south and west of the city. From the north catch the No 7.
By Subway
Hop off at Cowcaddens. The underpass brings you to Garnethill and Cambridge Street — perfect for the GFT, Theatre Royal, and Pavilion Theatre.
Walking
Stroll the famous Golden Z — Sauchiehall Street is the least hilly route through the city centre.
For a view, head up Scott Street or Hill Street in Garnethill. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Ben Lomond.
Need a break? Benches along Sauchiehall Street let you pause and soak up the buzz.
Cycling
Cycle lanes connect the west end to Sauchiehall Street.
Plenty of bike racks are available throughout the District.
