One Day In The Park [25 Years of Melting Pot]

After nearly seven years away, we are more than delighted to be bringing One Day In The Park back to Queens Park Arena Bandstand as part of our 25 Years of Melting Pot celebrations.
This has always been a fan favourite for Melting Pot, and it feels right to return to the leafy setting of the Bandstand for a proper summer disco party.
On the day, Melting Pot resident Simon Cordiner will be joined by Glasgow disco obsessive Al Kent, with a live performance and the world debut of his new Million Dollar Disco Ensemble.
Continuing the theme of bringing live, orchestral disco back, the Million Dollar Disco Ensemble will be the perfect music for the perfect setting of Queens Park.
The arena will be transformed into a disco wonderland, with a soundtrack influenced by some of New Yorks most famous venues of the era, including Paradise Garage and Studio 54. The glamour and decadence of discos glittering age, paired with Melting Pots quality production and a state-of-the-art sound system.
